Lora has been a senior faculty with the Center For Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, DC for more than 20 years having worked with them throughout the US as well as in Haiti, Israel, Gaza and Turkey (cmbm.org). She has led mindfulness-based, spiritual pilgrimages to France, Scotland and South Africa, and for years she coached children & adults with cancer at Children’s Hospital and Abbott Northwestern, Minneapolis. Most recently Lora worked locally with the Irreducible Grace Foundation (funded by Penny & Bill George/Catalyst Initiative) teaching mind-body skills and stress reduction techniques, meditative practices and the uncovering of imprisoning belief systems. She worked with firefighters in New York after 9-11 with CMBM, and she and a team of colleagues organized and worked with children and adults on trauma after the Twin Cities bridge collapse.
